I’ve taken a botany/ecology position with the Forest Service in Marlinton, WV, so I will not be doing any consulting for profit, but I hope to get back to adding little blogs about the critters and plants I encounter (and maybe even one last Morocco blog from my visits to other areas). I would also like to add to the portfolio. Still, I’m always happy to share advice, or identify plants or arthropods (if I can), so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Ecological Consulting
Would you like help documenting the biodiversity of natural areas or other landscapes?
Would you like photographs of the wildlife you are supporting?
Do you need other help with ecological or environmental activities on your land or in your business?

Native Landscaping
Are you interesting in stewarding more wildlife in your landscapes at home, in your community, or for your business?
Wild Bee Plantings provides recommendations, orders and installs plants, or helps with maintenance of your habitat gardens or wildlife-friendly landscapes.

Local Ecotype Seed
Seeds that originate in the same region where they are planted are called local ecotypes, and they may be better adapted to local conditions and support more wildlife than those coming from farther away.
We help you scout for and collect small quantities of common native seeds near you, help you find a local grower to grow them out for you, or help you get started propagating.
